About Kayla
(They/Them)
Kayla Temshiv is a gender-queer actor and writer based out of Dallas, Texas. A graduate of University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), Kayla has found their comfort zone in bringing to life angsty teenagers, women that die brutally, aliens with silly little voices, and lovesick nerds. They're a versatile actor passionate about voice over, acting, writing, small animals and anything involving zombies.
Earlier this year, Kayla made their anime dubbing debut in "Shangri La Frontier", as a member of the Library Guild, and has recently provided additional voices for "VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream", "I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History", "Demon Lord 2099", and "You are Ms. Servant" all of which are available to watch on Crunchyroll..
If you're a fan of podcasts and audio-drama, you may have heard them on "Poe: Evermore" as Anna Ravenel (better known as Annabel Lee), or on various episodes of "Thirteen", "Magic Isn't Real", "SCP Archives", "Mayfair Watchers Society", "Hemophobia", and "The Dead", Their one-act play "Waylen" has been published by Samuel French and performed by community theatres and high schools across the country. Their radio play "To Those of You Listening Back Home" was produced and aired by WVXU. When not acting or writing, they're probably studying a new language, spoiling their two kitties, crafting, or playing video games terribly.
